Default Re: Bellagio, Venetian, or Wynn

I was just in Vegas and of all the poker rooms I enjoyed the Wynn the most.

Also had a friend staying at the Wynn (I was at the Bellagio), and I was extremely impressed with his suite.

If your are gonna go upper tier I would go Wynn. However, the atmosphere in the Bellagio is excellant, as it is the Bellagio.

Don't know why because I've never been to Vegas, let alone asked to have my name placed on one of their mailing lists, but yesterday I received in the mail a comp for three nights at the Wynn Las Vegas including a slot voucher for $100. This is probably standard marketing stuff, but I was already considering a trip to Vegas for the fall about 50-50, but now it looks more likely than not. (obviously, the nights are less than prime, but I'm not complaining. )

how in the hell did this happen? Are you a bigtime gambler (blackjack, slots, etc.) at other casinos or at online casinos? Maybe they bought your name off a list?

Another good reason to stay at the Wynn. If you don't want to spend too much on food you can cross the street to the Fashion Show Mall and eat at the food court.

i cant speak on the venetian, but i thought the service, room, and food at the bellagio completely blew away what i got at the wynn.

i also thought the games were better at the bellagio but i was playing 15-30 lhe.

the one thing i really dug about the wynn tho was being able to monitor the wait list for games from my room. that was a nice touch.

all said and done tho i believe ill be staying at the bellagio from now on.

oh yeah, the orange julius' at the wynn dominated the ones at the bellagio. i cant front.

I gotta be honest...I thought you were frontin' the entire post, but your last line convinced me otherwise.

I've stayed at Bellagio and Venetian, not Wynn yet. I love the location of Venetian. You have Mirage and TI right across the street, and Wynn can be a not too long walk or quick taxi cab. Then Imperial Palace is right next door, along with Jimmy Buffet's just down the street. Ceasars is not too far either. For me, the Bellagio is one end of the strip and Wynn is at the other end, and Venetian is in the middle. There is really no place I would want to go past either "end". I hate spending $15-$20 each way on Taxi cabs. So I love the Venetian location.

And Venetian has an awesome food court, with tons of shops and very affordable. Bellagio is just too high-priced and stuffy for my taste and doesn't have nearly the variety that Venetian has. Too formal. And I like the Venetian rooms much better than Bellagio.

I've only played 1/2 at Venetian. I've played small limit and 2/5 nl at Bellagio in the past. I think Bellagio spreads more games, but they are both very nice poker rooms. I've only walked past the poker room at the Wynn.

Wife and I are going back at X-Mas and are most likely staying at Venetian. I would never stay at Bellagio again after staying at Venetian (unless the room rates were much better at the B).

I've done all three.

Wynn wins, for all of the reasons above.
