At least now I know why Manning is so much better than Brady yet has less rings. It has nothing to do with clutchness, or better defense, or the will to win.

It's because God loves Brady more.

now i know why thay3r is such a bad poster, God hates us.

Maybe if you devoted your life more to god, I wouldn't be here.

Religion is a poison that is most effective on the weak, ignorant, fearful and desperate. TD comments help to perpetuate religion so I believe them to be shameful. But why should we care what TD thinks anyway? He is only famous/sucessful because he is good at a game.

My bottom line is that no one can prove or disprove the existence of a supernatural presence. That said, it is unreasonable to live your life according to superstition.

They are most definitely not the same "God". Christians believe that Jesus is also God. Muslims believe he was only a prophet.

I wasn't aware of Dungy thanking the sweet baby Jesus, thereby implying that he was honoring only a specific apparition of the same god that defines Judeo-Christian mythology. Did he specify whether or not he was requiring his Jesus to have been a later result of the Immaculate Conception, or did he fail to mention whether or not he strictly follows Catholic doctrine? This is a very important distinction, as we wouldn't want any Lutherans thinking that he was thanking their god.

He mentioned being a Christian at one point, and it's a pretty safe assumption that he's Protestant and not Catholic.

Makes you a dbag

Also, the Colts coach saying [about both coaches], 'We're not only black, we're also Christian' is amazingly dumb.

[/ QUOTE ]

what a sucky life u must lead to hate christians this much.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe its sarcasm. Maybe.

But if I was at work and said, I'd like to thank God for giving me the strenth to complete this months performance scorecard, it would sound just as lame.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, see the difference is, you have a lame job, that no probably requires no more brains than flipping a burger, thats why it would sound lame. There is a difference in saying, I just won a national sports championship, and got a trophy in one of the most anticipated sporting events in the US, and I remembered to put some pickles on a big mac.
