Got first submission last night (brag and thanks)
Blatent brag post...no one else to tell so I'm posting here.
I've been doing a BJJ class (no gi) for about 1.5 months now. Last night during sparring I got my first submission. Dude was in my gaurd and was trying to power around my left leg. I saw an opening and put a triangle on him. He tried to roll out, but I managed to roll with him and ended up in a mount with the triangle still applied. I pulled up on the back of his head and he tapped. I'm considering this a victory eventhough he submitted me ~10 times before I got him once. Thanks to everyone who posts martial arts advice here. You guys were partly responsible for motivating me to start this class. |

Congrats. I put my brother in this same move a couple of weeks ago and made him tap. He is younger than me but he is at that age where he thinks he is bigger and badder than what he really is but he really is bigger than me now lol
