Default 200NL - 99 Floats...and minbet on Turn???

Villain is 25/11. How do you deal with this awkward line? Just call? Raise? Plan for river?

you would check behind this turn almost always anyway so just treat this min bet as a check.

call.

I'd usually raise the flop, there are too many cards you really don't want to see come on the turn.

Anyway, as played it looks like villain has a scared TT-QQ, draw or air, so if you have big cahunas you can turn your 99 into a bluff and c/r turn + bet big on the river. I think most villains fold.

BTW, I personally wouldn't be able to make this play at the table.

I think this guy probably mistyped his 2 dollars... and that it should be 20 dollars.

I like a raise to about 34 or so here. The only problem is that this guy is obviously not the great, and could easily not realize that you're representing AK here, and still call you down with TT or something, but if he calls, he'll likely check on river so you can check it down. If he calls and bets river, unless he bets $2 again, you can feel pretty safe that you're beat here.

Without some history I'd just call and make a note of what he's doing this with if the hand goes to showdown. Assuming it's a donk blocking bet, he's probably doing it with a hand like a PP or a flush draw. If he has a FD most people at this level are calling any reasonable raise you make. I think most of the lower PP you have beat fold to a raise but a lot of people probably peel with TT-QQ with only one over card on the board too considering he knows his bet is weak and it's an obvious bluff spot. To raise here you basically have slow played a set, hit a K after floating him with a third person in hand when he raised PF and made a strong c-bet (not likely if you're decent), have a FD, or be bluffing. I just think you're getting called the majority of the time and I'd rather not turn a hand with showdown value into a bluff

Can alrdybnsnt66 not have AK here?

Preflop raise (a smaller one than I would like with AK), c-bet flop, then hit is gin card on turn and wants to feel you out/entice a bluff.
