Default Two pair against strangehold (400nl)

Villain is strangehold. Plays sort of wierd but seems like a semidecent tagg. We have 2 semi-interesting hands here that might explain our history better then I can explain it...

So I kind of have the overbet incorporated into my game versus him. So other then this I have been pretty tight and have not messed around much with him for the past 20 to 30 minutes.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com

UTG ($401.05)
MP ($912.25)
Button ($143.40)
Hero ($1442.10)
BB ($400)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP raises to $16, 1 fold, Hero raises to $58, 1 fold, MP calls $42.

Flop: ($120) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $80, MP calls $80.

Turn: ($280) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks (???), MP checks.

River: ($280) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero...

Should I bet here? How much should I bet? Good spot to throw in an overbet given history? If I bet and he ends up pushing over do I just barf and fold...? Check/call or check/fold horrible here?

C/C sucks. Bet/fold I think. Don't know villain well though.

lol snake i dont get hand 1 w/ 85. nothing pot...

i also view him differently, he's a bad lag i think.

this is tough / interesting bc you're deep, if it was 100bb id value shove. as is, i am not sure. i think an overbet here is somewhat fishy though, even with your "history" (neither history involves reraised pots)

yeah no doubt the first hand is really really bad but it made me look like a retard for future hands. Also I guess my read is off about him.

do you think he is clever enough to bluff/raise me here...? I mean I've been in similiar spots where I know some players are capaple of pushing over here as a bluff. Should I be worried about that at 2/4?

pretty bad spot to thin value-overbet bottom 2 here. just bet most you think he'll bet with Jx..180~220ish looks good

some good 2/4 players would try to bluff/raise you here, but this villian does not seem like the type to do so. i would bet about 215 and fold to a raise. he has shown from the QJ hand that he's willing to call you down light so i would think he will likely pay you off with top pair or some lower pp's.

If he's dumb enough to call you with TT there on the river in hand 2, super easy bet here.

id say just based on my play with him earlier tonight that this is a bet fold. I dont think he is sophisticated or aggressive enough to bluff raise you here. He seems to have a pretty wide range at all times and i think there are plenty of 1 pair hands that pay you off here.
