I blew half my roll

In a grim 10 day period in the middle of this month, I managed to blow half my roll.

Stupidity included but was not limited to:

Playing short-handed with GASS and Kunto 10-20 PL.

Playing under the influence of about 4 different substances (possibly simultaneously).

Playing heads-up 100-200 limit with Robert Mizrachi.

Tilting a little at the lower limits after a couple of hours of beats.


I've had my reality check, and no more muckery. No 5/10 for another 3 weeks and unable to make full buy-ins till then either.

it took me a year, and having to go broke about 4 or 5 times to really take bankroll managment seriously, as long as u learned ur lesson,ans hey u didnt even have to go broke to do it

sorry to hear it buddy.

the only thing left to do is clear your head, play ABC poker, and use more discipline in your approach. i've been hit with some huge losses in the big games a few times this year.

No worries, as was said it's not my whole roll and i have rebuilt a little since in the last 5 days sticking firmly ot the gameplan.

On the plus side I already paid for a month holiday in Canada and the US in October and will turn Supernova this week.

I did get awfully depressed for a week though.

that sucks, you'll be fine though. I did it too by playing outside my roll and I wasn't even drunk
