The woods stuff was weak but they've done other stuff like that (i.e. michael centric) that sucked so no real surprise there. But the scenes in the office were some of the best of the show imo, the jim turning into michael thing was amazing, pam's "how about in the conference room?" was awesome. And definitely my favorite tag (end of episode) ever. I don't really get where they're going with jim though, its not like he's going to leave dunder mifflin scranton any time soon.

The file called "Mr. A Knife" was incredible.

This show officially sucks. They decide to take the funniest character on television in Jim and kill him off with NO comedic opportunities. No more pranks on Dwight, no more hilarious facial expressions, no more ANYTHING that was Jim Halpert. Bad writing. Let them strike.

I really liked this one a lot, maybe because I didn't enjoy last week's all that much. I thought Michael trying to be Bear Grils from Man vs. Wild was funny, but Jim slowly becoming Michael was absolutely hysterical. Creed was fantastic this episode as well. I'm wondering why everything that was developing with Andy/Angela has just vanished for the last couple weeks though.

The Office used to be my favorite show, but 30 Rock has been putting it to shame this season.

So strange. I liked the episode, as did both my friends.

I loved the premise. A few things could have made this funnier...

1. less michael in the woods. the fact that he was doing it was funny. watching him talk to the camera was not.
2. a different office conflict than the stupid birthday cake thing.
3. some good old michael ripping on toby about how lame/gay the camping trip was. needed to really embarrass toby like he usually does.
4. less creed. creed is incredible for one or two lines an ep, but had too big of a role in this imo.
5. a quick michael phone call to ryan.
6. let us know SOMETHING about how pam/jim's relationship is going.

again i liked the premise, just thought the writing was unusually weak.

ALSO!!!

with respect to the last scene...

I thought it was way too obvious. This show is about subtlety. I "got it" when everyone was getting annoyed with Jim and Phyllis called him "Michael...I mean Jim." Jim was seeing himself as the boss, etc. The last scene just kinda bothered me.

Am I the only one who thought Creed skipping around the room was the funniest goddamned thing ever?
