Default 100 PLO: Get chips in fast???

.50/1 PLO. I've run my short stack up to $50.

This is the first time I remember CO raising in an hour-plus so I have to believe he has a strong hand.
SB recently got destroyed so he could have anything (seems like the player who has to have high cards here. Not the type to push a run-down hand.)
UTG+1 seems good.

This would be the first time I've ever shoved/willingly been all-in with this type of hand.

1) Do I want to be all-in pre-flop? My instinct says 'yes'. What if I had no suits?
2) Should I re-pot it myself? Or let the guy I believe to be very strong do it?
3) What if there's a smart player who may also be in with a run-down hand?

UTG+1: dianey33 ($146.70 in chips)
MP1: Jimmy Chagra ($54.60 in chips)
MP2: ChuckyB_DT ($50.70 in chips)
MP3: pokeresq ($58.35 in chips)
CO: Piiop ($85.50 in chips)
BUTTON: OAK-SILV&bla ($92.15 in chips)
SB: Mojo7559 ($15 in chips)
BB: 2'sRwild ($284.65 in chips)
UTG: kindwarrior ($125.90 in chips)

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to HERO [8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]
2 calls, fold, HERO calls, fold, CO raises to $4, fold, SB raises to $15 (all-in), fold, fold, UTG+1 calls $14, HERO ???

Rob's pretty much on the money here. If you were double-suited I'd call, but as it stands you've no reason to continue given that people like to get all-in preflop with hands like yours (which includes a few hands that crush yours).

Don't cold call. Fold, in fact. You're not even double suited. Don't get between these 2 preflop raising donkballs.

If he calls, what does he do once CO shoves? I'd call here, but would be worried about CO when I do.

Me too. I kinda like to call though, just in general. I think it's pretty neutral EV between calling and folding.

Calling's definitely better than shoving though since your hand plays better multi-way than it does HU and a reraise could push CO out. Also, your hand is one that's pretty well defined by a flop whereas something like a big pair hand will often have no idea where they stand if the flop comes low so seeing a flop with close to a PSB left benefits your hand much more than others.

Call and call any raise. I'd have said repot but you're not deep enough and you put CO on a strong hand.
