Default Fri nite in LA, where to go?

In LA on business, would like to go play tonight and maybe tommorow. I see everybody rave about the Bike and Commerce - just looking for details. I'm a recreational-but-serious limit player, winning .5/1 on UB. Any ideas which room and limits I'd find comfortable would be appreciated. Also, what waits will be like on a weekend nite - I can go anytime after about 6pm and don't mind staying all nite. I'm staying on Wilshire in Westwood, so I'll probably have to factor a long cab ride into my EV, unless any of these places run shuttles. Thanks!

I'd rent a car,,Westwood to Commerce probly a $150.00 fare each way maybe more depending on time of day. Hollywood park is a lot closer to Westwood action is good but atmosphere and area suck big time. Games are good everywhere so take your pick. Not usually to long of a wait at 9-18 and 20-40 at Commerce (under half hour) Don't know 'bout your BR, but if you like 9 way action donkfest than 3-6 or 4-8 is just that.

You have your choice of 8 poker clubs in the area. Taxis are expensive in LA. Renting a car would probably be better.

This will be the next LA club I visit. I have heard good things about it. How is the location, parking lot? Safe? Should I valet park?

it's not in the best area but it's safe as far as parking lot...valet is really close to the front, it really doesn't matter...

it's off the 110 S/B just south of the 110 @ Redondo Beach Blvd...get off, make a right and it's your first stoplight on the left, you can't miss it.

cardroom is clean, staff is very friendly as well as the floormen, chips are the only composite clay chips in Los Angeles, from $1 up...cocktail waitresses are somewhat cute,

just overall prob one of the classier rooms in LA
