Can anyone give more specfics on the structure of these satellites?

I'm probably going down to AC on Friday with my brother and we were thinking of entering. We were going to try to play in different ones though, that way we both have a chance of winning. Will it be busy enough on a Friday that we won't have to wait too long?

When did the Showboat poker room go under new management?

[/ QUOTE ]

The poker room boss left in the beginning of May. The new manager, Chris, was a pit manager before and took over recently - like a month or two ago I think. A few dual rate supervisors were promoted to pit managers and a few dealers made the jump to dual rate supervisors.

SOrry about the mis-information. I am usually there in the mornings, and they used to do 11 handed for all their tournaments. They don't do 11's for the 11am or 2pm's anymore, at least not while I'm there, so I figured they did away with it all together.

The structure on the Satellites are 10 minute blind rounds. You start with 1000 in chips like a normal sit-n-go. The blinds start at 25-50 and antes come in the fourth round. Is that enough ifo on the structure of the satellites or would yo guys like for me to find out more?

I don't play casino Sng, but my god I hope your wrong! 20 BB stacks, 10 minute levels of live play!!!??? What a waste of money. I guess at $30 it would be a cheap way to try and luck your way into the event.

Cool, I never really noticed any changes, but then again, I have only been there one time since since beginning of June. Will probably be in town in 2 weeks and might have to take a chance at the sattellite after I donk out out of one of the Showboat tournaments.

I'm pretty positive SyrialKilla is accurate with the structure information. Trust me.

I played in the $53+12 2pm at Showboat on Friday and it was 10 handed as stated earlier.

Made the final table but only 60-some entrants so the top 6 paid...of course I busted out in 8th.

Hey guys..wanted to stop in and let you all know that the info for the Tournament is up on the Harrah's website finally. www.harrahs.com, Atlantic City, Showboat, Poker. It's pretty much all the same stuff we have been talking about here but just incase someone needed some clarification maybe you could find it there.
