Default Spa Resort Casino Palm Springs, CA

Has anyone been to their poker room? What are they spreading? I understand it's pretty new and they are doing WSOP satellites fairly regularly.

I'm going to be in Palm Springs for the week of Thanksgiving and I just thought I'd get some opinions. The poker room wasn't around the last time I visited in 2005.

Their WSOP satellites are push fests (15 minute blinds). I dont care much for Palm Springs...never saw the appeal. Their casino is very nice though even though its probably too small.

WHnever i've been there, all i've seen is lower limits played. I've only realistically seen 3-6 and 1-2 nlh. Its a small room, i dont think they have more than 12-13 tables.

UPDATE! Visited down there over the weekend...yeah, I wasn't very impressed. 3/6 LHE and 1/2 NLHE, with fairly terrible players and the occaisional TAG locals taking their fair share of everyone else's money.

First they spread 1/3 NL not 1/2. The usual games are 3/6 1/3 NL, and a $5,000 buy-in NL. And the $5,000 NL is juicy!

If you are looking for 4/8, 8/16, 20/40, or 25/50 just drive down the street to Agua Caliente. Oh yeah and the 25/50 is juicy. The rake structure is very good for California. If you are a nit, please don't visit. Tip your Spa/Agua Caliente staff well and they will take care of you.
