Cardo,

Totally 100% my doing and totally voluntary...

Ollie,

I admittedly know very little about that company, I have heard a lot of quality control issues though. I would kinda beware. I use earbuds that are cheaper than that anyway, the Sennheiser MX75. I would suggest giving those a try. They are designed for playing sports so theyre sweat proof and have this twist to fit thing in the ear. Pretty cool.

Hi PittM, thank you for lending your expertise here. Costco near my house has V-Moda Vibe earbuds for $73. I know nothing about headphones (but bought Sennheiser 555's after your glowing endorsement of the company) so i was wondering if you had any impressions/experiences w/ these?

I would be using the earbuds to listen to my MP3 player.

tia!

I just bought the V-Moda Vibe's on Amazon for $69 shipped. I don't really have anything to compare them to in terms of quality (previously was using really crappy Walmart earbuds)... but they sound awesome to me. They seem to fit well. You can get them in several different colors, if you care about that.

Any recommendations on the headphones available from Best Buy? I have $200 in gift cards to spend there and looking for something to use at work. I think I would prefer the over-ear kind since the earbud style tends to start hurting after awhile.

Opinions on the Sennheiser RS140? They are wireless. I have no idea if they would even work with a computer or if they need special adapters.

The Sennheisers are pretty good, but since theyre wireless they def dont live up to the normal Sennheiser standard. Depending on what you're using them for I would either buy the RS140s or one of the Shure earbuds, and since you don't want earbuds i would def go with the RS140s, I mean they aren't as good as like sennheiser hd600s or something, but they blow the bose headphones in that price range out of the water.

Used to have HD595s, they were really rad. My friend has an EMU 0404 and it works well, dont see why an 0202 wouldnt.

Hey PITTM,

Just caught this thread and was wondering if you think the Sennheiser 650 is worth the extra cost over the 595. There is a special on both and they are $350 and $200 respectively, just wondering what you(or anyone else) think about the two models?

i'm looking for some reasonable headphones to listen to music at work and maybe commute with. the Sennheiser PX100's look like a good bet, but i have some questions about noise cancelling - will my workmates be able to hear the music i'm listening to? how well will these block out the noise from the metro?

any other suggestions in this type? (i could afford a bit more if necessary)
