I'm leaving in a few mins in case someone asks something else. The biggest beat is that I live downtown (cool) but in a smallish midwestern city, which makes rent very affordable actually. Usually not more than $1k per month depending on utilities and stuff. 1400 square foot I think (can't remember for sure though).
