ok so that looks quite boring. he checkraises the river to 150.

fwiw, the hand he caught me bluffing he limped with a8o. flop axx, turn x, river x. he called three pot sized bets.

Wierd. I'm assuming he never check-raised the river before this?

has he been checkraising much? - i might be more tempted to lead turn and fold to a C/R there, because its harder to fold the river considering he's such a spewer, unless he's shown that he may lead the river OOP even if you kept the lead on the turn. was it 53? they like to pot draws OOP.

"fwiw, the hand he caught me bluffing he limped with a8o. flop axx, turn x, river x. he called three pot sized bets. "

- i take it they was a 'y' in there.

This is one of those situations where I regret betting the river so much, but I think it's good anyway. A really thin valuebet, which I love. I think both fold and call is fine here, and I think I'd just follow my gut feeling for the flow of the game etc. I do like to make calls like that though.

I fistpumpcall vs this guy. Up until the river he has tons of air in his range that he might turn into a bluff

I think I probably fold here against this type of player (actually I probably call in real time, but I think a fold is good). These retarded short stack type players always go for a river check raise with big hands, and almost never check/raise the river as a bluff. Against a good player, you should call, because you would almost never check the turn if you actually had an A against a good player (unless my read on you is wrong).

I really don't think the river VB is thin. I think its almost an auto bet.
