Default Staking Dispute with TcCorbin

I gave TC 4k to play 2/4 with. Standard 50/50 deal with makeup. After a day ran it to 5k.

Next day I receive a text. Basically Lol my bad took it to 5/10 then 25/50 and now busto.

I feel like he owes me 4500. He said via text "no man we said stake" but [censored] I said 2/4, not high stakes.

Normally I would try to resolve this in private but I'm gonna be at a beach house with no internet for the week. Hopefully this gets resolved. As it was it was a bitch to get online to make this post.

Edit: for further clarification I was very specific on 2/4. I said if the month was going well he could play 3/6 and 5/10 but the initial stake was CLEARLY for 2/4.

at the very least he owes you makeup with strict conditions on the next stake.

well i probably wouldn't say he owes you the extra 500, but in my opinion he does owe you the 4k.

of course you have no way to collect and i don't know of any way to make him do make up without just putting yourself at more risk since theres no reason not to expect the same thing to happen.

So you said "Right now I want you to play ONLY 2/4. Maybe later, if 2/4 works out, we can discuss you moving up to 3/6 and 5/10?" OR did you say "Here's a stake for 2/4. If things are going well, you can move up to 3/6 and 5/10."?

If the former, he owes you the 4500 for sure. If the latter, it's a lot closer. Although if he played 25/50, he probably owes you the 4500 anyways. Also, don't stake deadbeats.

Also, don't stake anyone except for good friends you know in real life who due to very strange circumstances could use a stake.

TWP,

Not on my computer (since I'm supposed to be vacationing on the beach and got to resolve this BS) so I don't have the convo saved. I said basically once he won 6k or something he could play 3/6 and then if continued to pwn could try 5/10.

He def acted out of line as 25/50 was never going to be part of the picture.
