Can you not switch your party account to GBP?

[/ QUOTE ]

I emailed party and they were saying something to the fact of losing 3% to fees or conversion charges or something ? I'm currently in talks with partypoker over this .. I'm not sure I really even wanna play with US $ ... I see more people dumping the dollar in the next year dropping its value even more ... Playing 2/4 NL right now feels like I'm actually playing 1/2 NL a year ago ... just feel like I'm making less $ than I should be if I were playing with Euro's instead.

Being Canadian, you're going to be converting your money every time you deposit from or cash out to your bank account. No matter how you do this, you will always be paying some kind of vig. Although 3% is high, there's nothing unusual about it, and I'd be surprised (and eager to learn about) any method that would be less than 1.5-2%

Looking at partypoker's converter actually, I've noticed they always give me a better exchange rate than CIBC does. I think this might actually be worth it ... I'm just mostly wondering if there's any fees or anything if everytime I sit down/leave a table with the $ conversion. I hope there isn't .. and there shouldn't be right ? Damn PP guy I'm trying to contact must be off today :@

Of course not. I've never done it, and yet I can pretty much guarantee you that they don't. We've been through this in a couple of other threads recently, and the answers always come out the same...no one's posted about any site they nails you with exchange vig every time you sit down at/get up from a table. Imagine the howls of protest any site that did this would receive!
