OP, surely a very small loss with AQ is acceptable for meta game reasons? If it increases your win rate with AK by making it a smaller % of your 3bet range, then is that acceptable?

Assuming you meant 3-betting, I strongly disagree with this, especially if the limper is bad (very likely): villain could be isolating the limper with all sorts of stuff. I think your line is fine, fold the turn.

I think with these stack sizes folding preflop is just fine.

The flop is something I'm interested in though, is bet/folding the flop giving up too much? I think any other line just puts you into a nasty guessing game in a big pot oop.

If we CRAI here are we hoping he's bluffing both streets or do guys show up here a lot with Aces we beat?

i dont see how CRAI on turn is better than just calling with intention of c/c any river bet. turn CRAI surely is not for value so i cant really see any good reason to do it. if he hits a 2 or 3 outer on the river or some weird draw then so be it. i would think its just better to let him try and run you off your hand.

As played, I fold. But I would bet the flop with the intention of getting the money in.

IMO if we bet this flop we get called by nothing worse. Does the benefit of taking the flop down /finding out if we are likely to be behind early/worrying an AK enough to slow down by representing AAorKK outweigh the money he will give by betting when he is behind trying to represent an ace?

[/ QUOTE ]

good point.

I believe most TAGs float here a lot with worse hands. Depends of course on your own image.

We are only 140BBs deep, so I'm playing for the stacks without any specific reads.

Cbet and C/R turn seems fine to me.
