Nice of Howard to say the odds of getting 4 of a kind are 500-1. I could swear he also said that about a royal flush when he mentioned Ivey's odds of winning the main event another time he mentioned this.

That sucks! One of the players didn't realize she had the straight, and the TD was scolding her because she didn't bet it before the other player (who wisely checked)! I gather that there is a new rule they have at the WSOP, that if you know you have the nuts, you MUST bet it, or you'll get a penalty! That's bogus!

I mean what happens if you try to trap someone into betting if you check it, and they don't happen to bite there.

I think the rule is if you are *last* to act, with the nuts, and check it...
she was last to act, not first. hence the scolding.
