Well lets see what the bible says,

Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.

Sounds a bit like plate techtonics/ ice ages doesnt it?

The christian thinking offers us absolutely no reasons as to why I can find an oceanic fossil 7000 feet above sea level.

Why should they be expected to answer this question. It has absolutely no bearing on whether or not there is a god as they view him. If they do not have an answer all it means is that they do not know why. What does that prove? Nothing.

Ok.

The forum can argue along on whether Jesus was begat from a goat or not. The volcanoes are god spewing off god come.

Go figure?

Funny!

This forum is constantly debating jesus and god. And also, the theory of evolution.

Well, I suppose the theory of plate tectonics deserves a place in the discussion. The theory offers us a rational reason as to why there are oceanic fossils thousands of feet above sea-level. The christian thinking offers us absolutely no reasons as to why I can find an oceanic fossil 7000 feet above sea level.

Christian thinking doesn't need to offer an explanation. There's no contradiction (unless you're a young-earther), so the lack of "explanation" by the Bible means nothing.

No, of course, it doesn't! It is well above that, and the fact that christians individually differ on their understanding and explanations is just part of the mystery! LOL Then you can count me as a christian... just a strong atheist one.

I specifically meant it doesn't need to offer an explanation for plate tectonics.

As I said, some people calling themselves christians will not agree with you, some in fact will say you are not a christian if you accept the tectonic plate science either in whole or in part. This is just silly, another way to see that christianity per se doesn't much exist, it is only a very fragmented set of believers in many different things all calling themselves the same but excluding each other from the same named set!
