That freeroll is freakin awesome too bad I have a grouper tournament that day. Also Derby Lane has a bad beat and a Spade royal jacpot for holdem tables only. They only take $1 extra rake for both. Bad beat has to be A full of J or better getting beat by quads or better. Both hole cards must play.

The SPADE ROYAL is for TOURNEYS only..............

Ironically, the BAD BEAT was hit on the first day by a longtime regular.

I was told that the royal was for all holdem. That is why the guy called me with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] when I bet 15 with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] a couple days ago.

Im so lucky the flop didnt come out

2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

and Im really lucky the guy didnt call another 28 dollar bet
and mostly Im lucky the turn was a Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] gave me a set of Qs. Boy was I lucky the guy called my all in for another $60 and that river was freakin beautiful A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] set of Qs loser. "Nice hand sir can I have another hundo"

Spent all day at DERBY LANE yesterday and I can assure you that the SPADE ROYAL is for the tournaments only.

Later I asked the guy why his K 2 of spades was worth another $14 (small blind) he said because of the spade royal. I didnt explain to him that he might have a 1/1000 chance of hitting it and that would mean he is paying 14,000 to win 3800. I wish he had known that then he might have folded preflop.

So when your set of sevens loses to a 4 outer on the river you lose the pot and miss the $77 jackpot. Now that's what I call a bad beat.

I like the promotion, though. Good way to feed the jackpot back to more players.
