Default Can anyone lay down this straight?

This hand came up the other day in a $2/5 NL live game. The table was playing semi-loose and pretty passive. The important characters are the BB, who has got about $200 and me, who has about $550 or so. The BB hasn't impressed me so far, making some pretty bad calls, going on tilt, etc. He had gotten sucked out on a few times that night, and steam factor figures somewhat into the equation here.

Preflop, I was in the CO, 3 limpers to me and I found 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and I limped, button folded. We saw the flop 6 handed. The flop hits 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Sweet, I've got a straight. Everyone checks to me, and I bet $35. The SB folds, and the BB raises $100 more. Everyone folds to me. What to do?

Dude, the BB has 40bbs and could be tilting, and you have the second nuts. Nobody ever folds here unless they're retarded. This post belongs in BBV.

Raise to 300, BB calls and you win pot. The end.

FOLD. What can he have other than a higher straight? He's raising you after you've shown massive strength.

Push. Get called by a hand you beat or hit two diamonds.

For the record, I didn't fold. I put him all in and he called and showed the nuts. I was just wondering.
