Default stars NL $25, tpgk vs 19/16 reg

villain is 19/16 something like 2.6af over ~500 hands, my only notes label him positionally aware and generally a winning player. i have been floating him a lot on another table where i'm on his direct left so i suspect him of underrepping here, but not 100% sure.

fwiw he's got me at probly ~25/18 over the same sample.

with him leading the turn and continuing on the river, is it pretty clear to fold here? i mean, i have trouble imagining a hand other than a busted club draw that i beat by calling here, but since he led the turn for 2/3, i don't really see a flush draw.

should i be folding the turn, esp. since the jack wasn't a club? is this the exact ~0 EV hand i should be dumping vs a TAG regular oop as soon as he calls that flop?

i think i've said fold like 1100 times in this post, so it's kind of obvious what the results were (I GOT TAKEN TO VALUE TOWN), i'm just trying to flesh out + confirm the reasoning behind not continuing in this hand.

does anyone play this differently? besides not raising pf: it was a loose+weak-tight table, except for him, and i felt like i was getting value out of most of the other players in this same situation.

I'm not a huge fan of playing this from early position. It can make the rest of the hand a pain in the arse. The problem with folding the turn is that with an agressive villain and the way this hand played out, he's going to bet when checked to on the turn a whole lot. I think I call the turn and c/f the river unimproved (trying to get him to check through on the river).
