Hero dealt Ad Kd on button raise to 20 and the BB calls.

hero bets 50 behind the check and BB calls.

turn: 6d

hero: bets 120 behind the check, BB reluctantly calls.

Looks like a fold, but reads would help in this case. I'd probably bet less on the turn (90 - 100). Villain likely has you on a strong A and expects a call. In this situation, I sometimes check the turn, with the intention of calling/value betting the river.

~50% of eff stack in the pot, and getting 3-1 on river. I prob check behind turn, and call river.

Wait, why the hell are we checking behind this turn? Because we know a J is coming on the river and want to control the pot size? Bet this turn 100%. As played, I think I have to call the river because it's live, and I'm getting 3-1 here.

It should probably dawn on you multi-tabling live-play-haters that the fact that it's live makes it MORE likely that he has a J, or takes this line with a flopped set, etc.

crappy river, but the river is a must call. a seemingly tight player is not calling you all the way to the river with an unimproved pair of jacks. he either has a boat, or you have him crushed. This is a perfect card to bluff a strong ace, and you have to suck it up and take your 3:1 odds.

This is without reads. Results?
