Default teh nines

Feeling a little lost in these hands with 99. I feel like lately i'm either over- or underplaying them, especially when it's for 25-70 BBs like these hands. In all hands, I'm running like 20/15/2.5.

first one, guy's a donk, 47/18/1.5, so pretty passive. in the hand just before this one, he caught a miracle river to split a pot with me for his stack. i felt like this + his passive stats made me want to tread cautiously here.

plan?

With this second one, what's the plan vs. a shorty otb when there's no history and shorty hasn't been at the table long? (and isn't a known shortstacker). I'm just gonna include the hh. thoughts on how i played it?

LegoPoker Hand History Converter

CO: $94
Hero (BTN): $485.80
SB: $711
BB: $412
UTG: $630.30
MP: $549

Pre-Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
2 folds, CO raises to $14, Hero raises to $48, 2 folds, CO calls $34

Flop: ($102) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero bets $46, CO calls $46 and is All-In

Turn: ($194) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

River: ($194) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $194 Pot ($3 Rake)
CO showed K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pair, Jacks and Twos) and WON $191 (+$97 NET)
Hero showed 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (two pair, Nines and Twos) and LOST (-$94 NET)

Last one. Here, again, facing heat, except villian is a bit more aggro, 21/13/4. still, i always feel like these little min 4-bets are mostly like QJ and never monsters (expect from the 50/2/.01 guys). I feel like w/this line i end up c/f'ing a lot of flops.

basically, i hate this line, but the min 4 bet freezes me up here (i prolly reraise TT+, AQs+). alternative please.

1: call and c/r ai on good flops. How is 47/18/1.5 passive?

2: check, don't put it any more money

3: std

1. This guy looks super loose, and definitely not very passive. Has he been 3 betting much? If yes, call and c/shove most flops. If not, call anyways and see what happens.

2.Given he has only $46 left, I'm probably not folding. Shoving the flop is ok, but checking and calling a turn shove/shoving when checked to allows him to stick it in with nothing a bit more easily.

3.Fine

with one, i guess i meant sorta loose passive, b/c his agression wasn't real high. but yeah, you guys are right, not exactly a model of passivity.

no, i don't think i'd seen him 3bet.

sorry, didn't convert. he's in sb. so if i call and he bets out, what's plan with:

1) A high flop, like A84
2) flop w/two overs, like QT5
3) or how about Q52

you done at this point with scenarios 1 &2? It just seems like i'm gonna hate too many flops that he's going to cbet. and reraising pre seems bad since it lets him play perfect. bleck. [ QUOTE ]
