Here is a tip for everybody: Always enumerate the OESDs on any flop. People love to play flush draws and OESDs aggressively these days. Flush draws are easy to spot and not spew against, but OESDs are hidden and you can end up spewing a lot when you hit a set or 2 pair on the turn/river. For example,

You have QQ UTG, you raise, and 2 spewdonkey LAGs call in the blinds. The flop comes Q63r. The action goes bet, raise in front of you. ONE OF THEM HAS 45o so watch out for 2s and 7s. Enjoy all the money I just saved you.

I LOL and yet everytime teh 2 or 7 hits i know i just lost the hand.

The funny part is when it goes like this:

You 3-bet, one calls, the other caps and you both call. The turn comes a 7 and the flop capper checks. You should check behind here and I'm not joking.

Interesting - I'll have to be on the lookout for this. I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't been. Thanks yo.

/ thread. Well played jr.

(seriously, mods, we need an Oct. LC thread so I can officially, and mercifully, put September to bed. I just realized writing this that since I started winning at poker, I've had three losing months, and they were all September - '03, '05 and now '07...)
