Default Live 3/6 - - HU on Turn

Game is pretty loose passive.

So, we're on a kill this hand (bet or raise 6 on first streets, 12 on last two).

Villain is tight passive. He told me he likes to limp with AK and call down if he flops TPTK since, "that's how you take down a monster pot." He's also the killer.

Hero's dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in UTG+1 and calls. Two loose passives call and both blinds fold. The killer checks.

Flop is AQ9 with two clubs. Villain/killer bets, hero raises, limpers fold, villain calls.

Turn is 9 (not a club).

Villain bets. Hero...

Also, how do you rate my preflop decision. There were few raises preflop in this game, especially on a kill.

I would usually raise preflop. As played, call down - he either has a nine or you will probably chop with him.

My reasoning for not raising pf was that I noticed the game would tend to turn tight passive during a kill. Is this an even better reason to raise pf? I thought I could attract a few other players in to build a nice pf pot. Maybe I've been playing too passive from EP? I would always raise with such a hand in an unraised pot from LP.

Also, the villain was an extremely passive player, I should add. Further, he was observant of the other players and noticed I was tight and thought I was TAG. Nonetheless, he made many poor decisions that night and often failed to protect a big hand. Should I still call down?

Thanks for your replies, btw.
