Why didn't you raise the turn?

Yes, raise the river. AK or AQ will frequently be raising PF, any other A will play it this same way and they'll all call.

I would frequently bet this flop. I don't expect an A to reraise me big (they're trying to string me along), and it helps pump the pot somewhat for a pretty substantial draw.

I think SB will definitely raise AK, but might not AQ. You're probably ahead of most of the hands he's playing (AJ-A2) like this, so I'd go ahead and raise the turn with the intention of getting it in. You're behind to one hand of the 10 that would play like this. Get it in.

I would raise the turn, and as played, raise the river.

Mikey,

I think a raise on the turn is fairly mandatory here. With a limper, a SB completion, and a BB check, there's just far too much nonsense that could be drawing to hearts or diamonds by the turn.

As for the river, I don't think AK/KK/AA/QQ are likely holdings of anyone, so the ONLY thing I'd be worried about is 33. That being said, there's a ton of other hands that I think will call a reasonable river raise, such as a variety of Aces, smaller pocket pairs, etc.

We have the second nut heart draw, and there's one opponent left by the time it gets to us on the turn. You think the backdoor diamond draw is potting it here? Raising the turn is fine, but here I think it's solely about value extraction and not protecting our hand.

Limping here when the blinds are small is fine for someone who can play goot post-flop poker. I fold obviously....
