Default Help! Pharma Sales...

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone on 2+2 could lend some advice on landing a pharma sales position.

I graduated with a Biology degree, and after deciding to not pursue medicine, I worked as an Assistant Office Manager at a doctor's office. Six months ago, I started looking for a sales position in a pharma company, and found a job in sales for a Biotech company.

However, I am really not happy at all in my current company. They are a relatively new company, so their infrastructure and resources are severely lacking. My responsibilities aren't clear and there was no formal training. What I had believed to be a mostly outside sales position has turned into a inside sales/customer service position. I really want to quit, but if I stick around for the full year, I think it might look a lot better on my resume for a sales position in a pharma company.

Could anyone give some tips or advice to landing a pharma sales position? Also, should I quit my job now and look for a job with a pharma company, or another company doing outside sales? Thanks guys.
