I'm still able to use Neteller but recently stopped because their support is nonexistent. Tried to get in touch with them on a few issues concerning bank accounts & currency. This was 3 weeks ago. Live chat doesn't work either. I simply don't want to transfer money with a company that won't speak to me, even if European accounts are reasonably safe.

This is about right. I'm Canadian and I've pretty much stopped using them. When I transfer money to a financial institution I would like to know that support is there when I need it. Their support of late has been nonexistent, I have emails that haven't been answered for a month.

Whether the withholding of US funds is Neteller's fault or not, they way they handled the entire situation is terrible. The same thing that happened to the US could've easily happen to us. The way they treated the US is an eye opener for me.

If Neteller ever becomes an option for US customers again there will also be a myriad of other options available. No way in hell will Neteller EVER get any of my business again.

I might use them to immediately transfer small amounts. I would/will never keep my entire roll online anymore, be it Neteller or a site.

The DoJ have no case against Neteller, but they're screwing them anyway, because they can. These are the same people who put Tommy Chong in jail for selling bongs over the Internet. The DoJ is also screwing Americans with money in Neteller, because they can.

Arresting the founders of Neteller is an act of international piracy. Neteller did nothing wrong. The Internet has advanced the way we play poker and do business. If America behaves as if it were still 1961, then America has a serious problem.

Neteller has been forbidden to do business with Americans by the extremely powerful DoJ. The DoJ knows their case against Neteller will fall apart, but they're sticking it to them anyway, because they can.

This thread attests to the fact that the DoJ is succeeding. Yes, blame Neteller for the actions of the DoJ. The founders of Neteller got arrested for running a good and honest business. But American corporations did not like the competition.

The UIGEA regulations haven't even been written yet, but the DoJ decided to act anyway on some trumped up "pending investigation".

Neteller can't return you your money - they have been forbidden. I don't understand why a lot of 2+2 posters have a problem with this simple fact.
