Re: Overpair+ Flush draw facing heat
it's fine. i want to see his cards up and what we're against and the pot is big enough. we have outs v a set and outs v KK/AA (w/o heart). Worst case is KK/AA w/ heart. If that happens, oh well I guess, we were going broke w/ QQ anyway.

Re: Overpair+ Flush draw facing heat
I'm pretty sure QQ is not goot enough given preflop action. I usually put him on a hand I beat, like 2 black jacks, and play it the same as you, only to get shown 2 red Kings.

Re: Overpair+ Flush draw facing heat
I expect to go broke w/ QQ v KK on a low board and having the Q high flush draw only makes that more of a certainty

Re: Overpair+ Flush draw facing heat
Problem here are odds, because that makes it a lot closer, as I think you're behind his range.
Something to this effect: === Board: Th 8h 2h Dead: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 46.2879 % 45.15% 01.14% { QhQs } Hand 2: 53.7121 % 52.58% 01.14% { TT+, 88, AhKs, AsKh, AhTs } === |

Re: Overpair+ Flush draw facing heat
Hero is getting pot odds if these stove ranges are correct.

Re: Overpair+ Flush draw facing heat
Yeah you have solidly more equity than 2:1. Easy push, IMO.
