There are a whole lotta ways you are beat here.

Really? I'd say J9 and 88 only. There's tons of ways of being ahead though. Don't understand why you fear the min-raise, it could be anything from worse two pairs (87/T8/K7 etc) to a combo draw, fd, oesd.

[/ QUOTE ]

so youŽd try to get it in here?

Nah, I think this line is good. His min-raise doesn't mean monster, but his 3x 4-bet does. Pot was so small at of the action at the turn that we can take a 3-bet/fold line, most hands we're beating will just call our 3-bet (or fold).

If I had posted this hand people would be railing on me for 3bet-folding the turn. Nobody would be like, "oh yeah, that's hot chi!"

Personally I don't like the 3bet-fold turn line, because you're really just bluffing with a decent hand.

Yeah you're right, most decent posters would be like: "oh yeah, that's pretty standard chi".

I check the flop almost always.

Jim, What is your plan if he cold calls the turn 3-bet and 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] peels the river? Are you b/f-ing? b/c-ing?

As played, looks well played.

That min-raise followed by a 4-bet is a monster line. Unless you have some history with villain, a fold seems right.

I'd probably c/f.

Hearts are the suit I fear when he calls the 3bet.
