1) Can I please get more appreciation for including both "Swongs are one thing" AND "sup bro" in a P5s podcast?

Doing some Googling for news on this (a number of hits now) I ran across this item. Wouldn't have thought twice but considering what's been going on and the Montana connection, I thought this was interesting.

MONTANA ONLINE POKER PLAYER STRIKES GOLD IN ABSOLUTE DREAM PACKAGE

No more big tourney buy-in worries for MCBill....

Montana resident and online poker player "MCBill" probably feels like he's struck gold this week after winning access to a possible over $100 million in online poker tournament prize pool money. Absolute Poker revealed that the online poker player hailing from Helena, Montana has won the 5th Absolute Dream Package on October 7th.

Note: Not implying anything here. Just an interesting news item.

Okay. I wasn't going to post this earlier. But I think it's worth at least a mention.

There is a william willis mcmahon listed in Scott's frat buddies.

There is a william/willy mcmahon that cross references to the hendon mob database. I have no idea if this connects at all. He is listed out of Atlantic City in that db.
I went looking thru all the frat buddies hours ago for any connections like that and sat on it because it (still) has no real meaning.

But that screen name and real name suddenly looks a tad strange with that DB and big win at AP doesn't it?

can anyone dig further into that?

fwiw- in the frat records mcmahon is listed as being from missoula.
Also- an apparent new account at Absolute.

Just for the record I said I "believe" it was him. I met the guy for five minutes two years ago. At the time I met him he was about to play the Five Diamond. AP visor, sunglasses the whole bit. I am not sure that is him.

sorry uga, but what are you talking about? seems unclear right now.

The pic that could or could not be Scott Tom.

Trying to catch up but I have been sidetracked by this new revelation. The evidence is overwhelming:

Both have 8 letters, both have two T's in the 5-letter part of their name. wtf! Scott Tom == Lee Hotti?!?

i just emailed UltimateBet point them to the relevant topics concerning PotChipper. i don't know what sort of a response to expect, but i asked for any information that may help us determine whether they are the same person without violating the user's privacy. we'll see.

you're not going to get a damn thing from UB. what dont you people get about the fact that AP owns UB.

you know what scares me more than the superaccount itself? it's the ignorance of the douchebag who used it, in the way that he used it. not only was he telling the final table he was going to "put everyone to sleep one by one", he plays 99% of his hands, only folding when a big pair is dealt and makes the most ridiculous correct call in poker history on top of it.

this is one of the decision makers of two of the biggest poker rooms on the net. how do these imbeciles get these positions? very scary stuff.

Posting in a legendary thread.

On to a serious note, I've read every post since the very beginning of this scandal and I just wanna say great work everyone.

A few things I want to get across to the people who have direct contact with AP.
1. You are speaking on behalf of the poker community, please do not accept stonewalling responses when dealing with AP. Let them know of our frustration. Absolutely get involved with the external audit, if AP refuses use that against them by posting videos on youtube saying AP is not cooperating and is stonewalling.

2. Absolutely chronically outline every factual piece of evidence that has been discovered, create a web page or something professional. Threaten to release it to the wider media (CNN etc) if AP continues to tuck things under the rug.

3. The evidence is absolutely undeniable, thus try to get some sort of vouch from important figures in the industry, owners of other poker sites, employees, poker site software developers, top pros (greenstein, townsend) etc.

4. Be very careful with your sources, a lot of conspiracy theories get shut down due to bad sources even though the information could be legit.

5. Be very careful about doing this, but try to enlist some professionals as I think at this point there are so many leads for just the few of you guys to digest.

6. LASTLY DO NOT BACK AWAY. I understand some of you guys have a lot of money vested ($700,000), but we need a long term solution, AP must be brought to justice.

even more worrisome to me is the fact that if indeed there are other superuser accounts out there, i'm sure the operators aren't that completely dumb and are a lot better at cheating and are going to be MUCH harder to detect.

for example, if there was a superuser 4 tabling 5/10 lhe and is using the account to up his winrate from 1 up to 2.5bb/100 then he's skimming another $60/hr off AP clients. bump this up to 30/60 and change the winrate from .5 up to 1.5 and 4 table, sitting quietly making an extra $240/hr w/o anyone being the wiser because he's smart enough to no have astronomically high win rates. just average win rates that he wouldn't be able to pull off w/ the super account.

that is a big one of many reasons i'll NEVER play there again, no matter what comes out of this.
