Gotta run out in a minute but to answer a couple of questions, no they do not have any kids. Also, I called them from my cell last night. His call back was to my home phone. I do not have caller ID or voice mail on my home phone, I use my cell 90% of the time so I don't bother. So far some good advice.

in all seriousness though, dude is a scumbag; you should tell her, and mention that he threatened you. it's up to her whether she wants to believe it or not.

also, stop being such a [censored]-tease, he obviously thought he had a green light

Fair enough. Consider myself learned on wiretaps. I still like the idea of doing it, because it will likely never go to court and you have proof just for your friend.

good point! It's also worth noting that this entire situation could have been completely avoided if you would have at least just blown the guy

Wow. This guy isn't very smart. Has he seemed like a dirtbag in the past?

You have to tell your friend, IMO. Maybe she won't believe you but at least it will create a seed of doubt in her mind. When her husband pulls this again in a couple years (and he will) she'll have less reason to believe his side of the story. Eventually she'll figure him out.

I am pleased noone has said "do nothing". this proves we all mean well.

OP, tell her, she may not believe you. You should tell her, you should not see the guy again and make clear his balls are in jeopardy and, yes, your friendship is likely over. Sorry

Posting a uTube video of the conversation is even better (though potentially illegal in some states).
