Too Stupid to Register my Bank Account with Party

Hello,

A week ago I requested an EFT from party, and it wasn't allowed because my bank account with registered with an old and closed party account. I get an email telling me to call them at 1-866-299-8893, and I do. I manage to get them to deactivate the link between my party account and my bank account, and then try to register the EXACT SAME bank account with my current party account.

It doesn't work. I go over the same numbers with customer service about 4 times and we give up after, where he tells me to go to the bank and check this. I go to the bank, get my account #, my transit # (5 digits), and my institution # (3 digits). I try this again (where routing # = institution # followed by transit #) and it fails.

I call pay-pro again and they tell me to FAX A VOIDED CHEQUE over. Yes, apparently I'm so stupid that I cannot register my bank account myself.

Has anyone else in Canada or otherwise encountered the same problem?
