If your tattoo is out of site, especially at work, you should not have any regrets. Of course, if it gets infected and you have to amputate then maybe.

Hey bro. Even though I don't know anything about you, what your interests are, any example tattoos you like, and don't know what kind of girls you are into, I can definitely help you out with this tattoo confusion. It's pretty easy. You should get one of those tattoos that's like an Asian symbol for some cool word. Like the Chinese symbol for "strength" or "loyalty" or something like that. That would be totally pimp. Girls would be totally drooling all over you.
Or get one of those sweet barbed wire tattoos like:  That would be really sweet bro. And to answer your original questions: You definitely will not regret it in a month. And yes, all girls are into these. Hope this helps.

I have both arms barbwired, and the chinese symbol for "dignity" on on my upper back.
