yeah. i've been running awful this past month...brought my total winrate over past 75k hands to around 3. I still think I can run at 3.5+, every hand lately has been a cooler.

i understand ya. tho u put in about 3x the ammount of hands i do...i understand long term implications and such. i cant wait to b done with school so i can finally grindcore solid.

also...wud u say there is a huge leap between 100 and 200 on FTP? i wud think this wud b the biggest leap in levels as FR slowly becomes 6max (high variance with light 3/4betting and such). am i wrong with this assumption?

truthfully man I don't have a ton of experience playing 100nl. I built my roll through live play, and when I finally realized how much more money/hour I could make online, I jumped into 200. I certainly think there are tons of bad players. Prob the biggest difference is the fact that regulars are much more willing to go to war with other regulars.

Although I will say that if you're any good at hand reading, you're going to beat up on most of the regs. There are more competent and polished players at 200 and the games are more agg preflop. Better turn and river plays as well.

I think if you beat 100 pretty well, it'll take awhile to get used to 200 but eventually you can beat it just as bad. I think the bigger jump is between 200 and 400, but I dont have much experience at 400 either.

Hey computer nerds (prodigy);

Just wanted to ask you a question or two before I buy my new computer.

I think I'm going with a Dell, which I was surprised to find in korea. I'm thinking of the XPS720, which is supposed to be a hardcore gaming machine. Let me know what you think for what I'm doing:

Processor: 2 choices really

Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6750 (2MB L2 Cache,2.66GHz,1333 FSB), English

I don't know what most of that means but it's the most expensive option I have- But my other option is Q6600($100 less):

Intel® Core™2 Q6600 Quad-Core (8MB L2 cache, 2.4GHz,1066 FSB) English

Ram:
4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz- 4DIMMs
for ~$600 more I can get 4x1024 NECC DDR2 800Mhz SDram which I think are overclocked to 1066Mhz.

Video Card (does this matter because i have tonnes of tables going?):
256MB nVidia GeForce 8600 GTS

or for ~$500 more i can get the
768MB Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX

It comes to about $2k with a 20" LCD with the cheaper of the things I mentioned. Does this seem reasonable and appropriate for what I'm doing?

Thanks for taking a look

ok, i got a little question about moving up....

I moved up to 100nl a few months ago with a 2k bankroll, but then had a downswing + had some bills to pay, and basically had to drop back down to 25nl. When this happened I got PT and started taking the game more seriously. I'm at 50nl just now, got $1500 BR, and i'm beating it for 5ptbb/100 over 20k hands.
Given that I've played 100nl before, and have played a lot of 50nl before i got PT and took things seriously again , so feel more than comfortable, is it worth me taking a shot at 100nl with 15 buy ins? Should i just go for it, 1 or 2 tables (i only play 6 tables max) and if i lose 2 or 3 BIs, then back to the drawing board so to speak?

my aggro bankroll rule is 14BI for the level im moving to. if i drop 2BI, i move back down.

ima nit usually...but i used this methodolgy 2mo ago, and it workd just fine. so long as u have the discipline.
