Once, I lost all my money at the casino, and had no way of getting home (because I came on the bus), so I decided to hitchhike home on the highway after dark during winter. Eventually the cops picked me up and I spent the night at a homeless shelter (despite having an apartment an hour away, I just had no money and no way to get home). In the morning my sister bought me a bus ticket, but I had to go to a church to call her because you can't call collect to a cell phone.

Once I spent the last $2 I had on me on a whistle and so I had to walk home because I didn't have any bus money. Another time I did the same thing with a cd. I knew I'd have to walk but accepted it anyway. The whistle was a mistake. I'm not sure why I wanted it so much, I think I just thought it'd be cool to have.

How much does it cost you to call a city 2 hours away from a payphone? And I suggest you try calling your own cell collect if you don't believe me, although things could be different in the states.

Dude it's cool i ran around norfolk for hours on st patty's because I was too drunk to read my cell(seeing double) fought some bums then finally my friends found out I was missing an called/picked me up.
