Default scared of flush draws

when im first to act and have tptk or even 2 pair and the flop has 2 of the same suit and i bet and have multiple callers then a 3rd of whatever suit comes on the turn i dont bet bc i figure at least one of the guys stayed in bc of a flush draw so i try to keep the pot small and dont wanna bet into someone with a flush

i feel im losing pots bc i may have the best hand and dont know it bc of this play, should i continue betting, and just fold if reraised or what is the best play in these situations

Default Re: scared of flush draws

u cant play so scared...sure there will be hands where u run into flushes but for the most part u should still bet strong and if u get a push back at u then that gives you a idea of where your at in the hand
