I am having a change of heart. I am now thinking this show is kinda boring.

I feel the same way. I loved the first few episodes of the show when we were still getting to know the characters because I was waiting to meet the first real trainwreck housewife but they are all brutally boring.

I've given up on this show.

I've watched an episode and it is boring. Their lives are dull and insulated, and they are generally clueless, but they aren't really despicable. This show would have been obscene 15 years ago, but now it's solidly meh.

jb: I was trying to avoid that show because Project Runway was so great I thought Top Chef would also be good and I didn't want to get hooked. Unfortunately, it was playing on the plane today and I watched 5 episodes.

I'm still enjoying this show. I like the tension between Jo and her fiancee. I can't wait for that to crumble.

Top Chef is fantastic. The fact that it's a clone of PR doesn't bother me at all. I kind of wish it took place in NYC so I'd know more of the restaurants, but I'm sure as an SFer that's add to your enjoyment of the show.

What I am a tad disappointed in is Thief. Maybe I was just too tired the last two times I watched it, but I found the episodes slow and a little convoluted. I'm eagerly anticipating The Wire's return.

I'm constantly blow away that otherwise very intelligent people waste their time on these shows. I really don't get the fascination.

I haven't seen the other two shows, but "King of Cars" isn't that bad. Although, I'm not sure how many episodes I can take before it gets boring.

I'm like way deep into getting obsessed with cooking, and I'm loving Top Chef. Somehow it makes up for being really predictable (Is there any way Lee Ann doesn't win? Can somebody go to the MGM and see if Steven is still working there and if so spit at him?).

Evidently I am because I really don't get it. What is it?
