So why did that kid not want to be taken home alone by his coach?

1. He was worried about being molested or the like.

2. He was embarassed about his living situation at home.

He's being pulled in different directions and is uncomfortable committing either way, and is uncomfortable with the way that Cutty and others look at him as something to mold. Like, when he and Cutty were watching Justin and the random box, Cutty puts his arm on Michael's shoulder and Michael just shrugs him off.

I think it's mainly just a discomfort with Cutty, and feeling like he needed to get the hell out of the car, like claustrophobia. I noticed that kind of thing earlier in the episode when Randy left and then Shahrad packed up his [censored] and got out of there, not for any other reason than he just needed to leave.

I'm new to the wire but I watched all of seasons 1-3 and episodes 1-3 of season 4 in the last week. As a random question, what is everyones favorite song in the introduction? I really like season 2 & 4s.

#2 I think. I watched this on monday, but wasn't he already at his house and he just waited for the coach to drive away so he could go in?

I don't totally remember but I think I liked the first one best. The very bluesy voice? That ruled.

This season's singer has grown on me, I really like it now when I did not at first.

This was a great episode.

It really showed that Marlo is a hard core guy. They really develped his evil side.

They brought back Omar to prominence. The simple fact of the matter is Omar is the most entertaining character of the show IMO. It should be good tv seeing the war between Omar and Marlo.

We are starting to get a good sense of the kids.

The quiet kid (Michael) I think is just mistrusting of people. I think they are just trying to portray his need to be independent. Look at his home life. He is essentially the parent to his brother. Any adult so far that has reached out to him he rebuffs. He even rebuffed Marlo, not just Cutty.

I think Randy is in for a hurting. He ratted out on a grafitti kid and I have a feeling that is going to come back an bite him..........why I do not know.

Dukie, man I have no idea. He and Weebe's kid (sounds better then Namond) I can not decipher where they are going with them.

Garcetti........ I am kind of liking the politic story a hell of a lot more then I thought I would.

Also Prop Joe offerred the good stuff to Marlo. I think we had a decent discussion where they wanted to bring Marlo in for his muscle to get rid of the N.Y. dealers. He turned them down. Then Prop Joe unleashed Omar on Marlo to see the benefit of the committee I suppose, nice turn of events.
