Hey, I am going to be in Vegas in a month. The people I am going with are really not interested in going and trying really good food. I am. I did talk them into CraftSteak for one night. But, what I am wanting to know is what good vegas resturants are single diner friendly?

You want the Sunday brunch upstairs at Zefferino's in the Venetian's mall. You won't need reservations.

go to "zero level" negotiate a limo should cost similar to a taxi and is a better deal if you have a lot of friends

I want to step off the plane, walk out of the terminal, and look for the guy with my name on a sign.

Anybody?

FWIW, I ended up using and being very happy with Bell Trans for my ride from the airport. $50 including tip for a sedan from the airport to the strip.

bump.

People of EDF - I need your help! I am helping to plan a kick-ass bachelor party in Vegas. We have the rooms, we have (most of the) reservations. But we still need the ENTERTAINMENT!

Please post some more suggestions for things to do in Vegas that are not gambling. The go-kart idea was a great tip, I think we're going to do it. Automatic weapons may also happen.

felson and I are looking to shoot machine guns while there in June. What's the best place near the strip?

[/ QUOTE ]
I went last week to the Las Vegas Gun Range (www.lasvegasgunrange.net). Pretty fun, but these are submachine guns (MP5's, tommy guns, Uzis), not assault rifles and not light machine guns, which I've seen other places offer (which was great for me, but possibly not what you're looking for).

Shooting is HARD. Significantly more difficult than I would have expected, and your vision during fully automatic fire is absolutely shot (nyuk).

voodoo lounge was my favorite place at night. 51st floor of the rio on the roof. hot scantly clad chicks dancing and the most ridiculous view of vegas ever.

Dinner on the top of the Strat is cool. You may want to check to see if it is still open as I heard they may be turning part of the top into a nightclub.

[/ QUOTE ]

i ate there a couple months ago
