Where do people play pool (9-ball, straight, etc) in Vegas?
I was there last Sept and don't recall seeing a pool hall remotely near the strip.

[/ QUOTE ]

theres a proper pool hall called the Las Vegas Cue club. its about a 10/15 min taxi ride east of the strip

felson and I are looking to shoot machine guns while there in June. What's the best place near the strip?

[/ QUOTE ]

Matt,

I did this about 2 weeks ago, and it was awesome. They even have grenade launcher you can shoot, as well as like 8 different machine guns and 10 different handguns. It was down the street from my house off of Blue Diamond and Decatur. Im not really sure where any are really close to the strip, this one is ~10-12 minutes away or so. Post some pics!

Spend 8 hours in a strip club with Jay, Indie Matty and Chuddo.

I like hanging out at the keno lounge in caesars palace. cheap to play and lots of free drinks. The mgm grand has a nice pool.

Sorry if this hijacks, but I value your guys' opinions.

I'm taking my mom to Vegas for Mother's Day.

La Reve vs O
and
Bellagio Champagne Brunch vs Wynn's.

Any thoughts?

I'm going to say neither. Why make Mom wait in line to get into a buffet, then walk all over to get food on Mother's Day?

Bouchon at the Venetian and Tableau at the Wynn seem like good choices for a better treat.

See this thread for a previous discussion Gourmet Breakfast in Las Vegas.

Thanks! Looking for places for breakfast in addition to a big buffet. I've heard good things about Tableau and will probably go alone during the trip regardless. She wants to do a buffet and show though. Watching me play poker was on her list too.

Oh, moms.

You want the Sunday brunch upstairs at Zefferino's in the Venetian's mall. You won't need reservations.
