Default FreeCreditReport.com= Not Free

I signed up for this to take a free one time look at my credit. The website has the word "free" covering like every inch of the page, so I figured it was OK. Wrong. I made a car payment a few days ago that basically set my checking account at 0$. (I'm in HS and work at Brookstone). So I go to look at my account because I want to go get subway, and there were at least two 10$ charges on my account. Annoying and scumbaggish, but not the biggest deal, right? Except that these charges sent my account into the negatives, and now I've been hit with about 60$ in overdraft fees. So what do I do now?

Note that I make about 100$ a week, and have high car and insurance payments, and overdraft fees compound like wildfire.

Punkass, I read an article that said that that notice was put up recently because of all the complaints. I registered over two months ago.

Then call them up and fight like hell. I'd also call the bank and see if they can reverse the charges. They might if you're a good customer.

So you gave your checking account number to a FREE WEBSITE that was offering FREE services?

What was it again that made you think this was a good idea?
