You shouldn't raise him on the flop unless you are willing to get it all-in. I would just call his flop bet and fold given the way you played it.

why are you raising the flop. it is crazy.

just call and keep the pot small unless you improve.

he probably has a monster, if not you are better off playing it slow anyway, a raise will just scare him off

check call flop? then what on turn? how do I know where I am by just check calling.

if you c/c the flop and turn you put in roughly the same amount that you would if you c/r the flop. but you get the benefit seeing 2 more cards and giving your hand a chance to improve. also if he checks the turn you know you're ahead usually and can value bet the river accordingly. or check/call flop and turn and fold the river if he bets big.
