Virtual PC Problems with Party
Hi,
(Double posted in Software because of the obscure nature.) So I have a Mac laptop for school and other useless things like that. I recently thought of putting poker on my laptop (I usually play on my desktop where my screen isn't 12"...). So I got Virtual PC and put XP on it and then upgraded the hell out of XP. When I went to install party poker, I got an error that it could not find "licenceWM.exe" At first I thought this was a typo (like it should be "licenseWM.exe" but that file did not exist. In fact, I searched all of the .exe's on the virtual pc and found nothing close to it. Any ideas? Anyone else run party from a virtual pc? Thanks for any help, -eric |

Re: Virtual PC Problems with Party
I would probably download and attempt the install again. I believe that is a party poker file.
FWIW these sites should work for you w/o VPC: Pacific Poker Room Games Grid Full tilt |

Re: Virtual PC Problems with Party
That's not a VPC problem, maybe XP, maybe Party client, I would just re-download and install again.

I will try redownloading and installing party. Hopefully it works, if not I think I am back to reinstalling XP or just going with a mac-based software. Thanks for all the help though, -eric |

Re: Virtual PC Problems with Party
Party works ok (ish) for me on Virtual PC. The ish part is that it's extremely slow - but it's a 3 year old powerbook. ymmv.
