10/20 live. Go ahead and laugh
Live 10/20 game at Taj.
Everyone at the table is at least 50, except for me. The game is somewhat loose and super passive. Pre-flop is raised only about 25% of time. In 4 hours there has been only one pre-flop re-raise and that was with AA. UTG raises, UTG+1 reraises, fold, MP1 caps. Folded to me in SB with QQ. I fold. I don't have enough to play for a set, and I am sure there is KK/AA somewhere in there. These guys are not aggressive and slow down real fast. I won't be able to get more than one value raise with a set. Ridiculous? What range do you call with here? |

This is ok.
You're facing a 4 bet, out of position, virtually nothing in the pot. For anyone who says anything other than fold, what's your line postflop and you can't use the word "reevaluate" anywhere. |

Re: 10/20 live. Go ahead and laugh
Based on your description I'd fold QQ
Play AA, KK obviously Would you play something like 88-22 so you'll get in your multiple bets on multiple streets if you flop a set on a rag board? How fast do these guys slow down? You have to get 7.5:1 ... the final pot would have to be 30+ small bets (there are 12 in there already). It's possible. |

Easy fold for me at a super passive table with slightly older kidz. For others I think it is not such an easy fold

You'd be better off playing QQ here than 66 because with 66 you know you're dodging at least four outs, maybe even six, which is basically a coinflip even if you hit your set. Flop comes K62 and you go for a CR and it's already been raised, and you c 3bet and someone caps it.... your hand sucks. |

I'd also like to see a post flop line for anyone who calls 3.5 cold here at this table with QQ. Look for a new opp

Whats the post flop line for KKs? I agree with the QQs fold, I don't think its even close. The KKs call/fold is an interesting decision though. |

Based on your description I'd fold QQ Play AA, KK obviously [/ QUOTE ] I should have quoted this. Why play KKs? We assume that our read is solid enough that we can put someone on KKs or AAs. If we have 2 Kings, its a lot more likely that you're up against AAs, or you're playing for a split. |
