Default Paris, LV to close poker room

One of their dealers just came into our place looking for work today telling us that the Monday after July 4th weekend will be the closing date for the Paris poker room. This is the third time I've heard the same thing this week. It was straight from a Paris employee mouth two of the three times. I'd say this is confirmed.

Can't say I didn't warn ya in another post. IP to follow this one soon it sounds like too.

No suprise there. They did a horrible disservice to the poker room by moving it to its current location.

Poker boom is over. We all knew that.

I was there a month ago, and when I went by there were only a few people at the table waiting for more people to show.

When I was there (stayed at Bally's) it was doing OK. Bellagio, Caesar's, and Mirage were going strong.

This was my take on things over the 10 days I was there in LV (June 1-10):

Rockin all the time:

Rio, obviously
Bellagio
Venetian
Caesar's

Plenty busy usually:

Planet Hollywood
Treasure Island
Mirage

Crazy as it sounds, never made it to the Wynn or Bally's.

And Photoc, sorry I missed you bro. Next trip

NL games have taken over the Mirage, and given it a second lease on life.
