Default Re: My friend [censored] seems really to have departed

[ QUOTE ]
A couple sentences he wrote probably without thinking or caring about them seemed to me a hilarious summation of the guy and his crazy attitude. "She's sitting on my bed and I'm making her laugh. Now she's petting my dog, and it's making me mad!"

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I remember that. I don't think he cared for that girl too much. He had his standards.

[ QUOTE ]
Whether he was as gifted as Katy says, I don't know, but when he would go off on a tear, I always wanted to know, So what happened next? Even if the answer made me want to strangle him.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well to clarify, I meant "gifted" as a writer and entertainer. For sure. He was naturally gifted as a writer. His economy of words combined with his masterful description and pathos is, well, what ever writer hopes for isn't it? Like you said, he made us wonder what happened next. How many people can do that? It came so easily to him. Not sure if he was "gifted" in the other areas of his life. You'll have to ask the other girls

Aw [censored]. Now I'm depressed again. Actually, I think he's gone off to write a great book. He'll be the next Vonnegut or Christopher Lamb or something. And I am envious.
