Nintendo is not keeping Wii's in short supply ... they could build enough factories so that there would be 40 million Wiis out by this Christmas ... but then they'd have all that extra overhead.

The Wii will probably be in shortage during Christmas, but I doubt that you'll be able to make more than $50. Just open it up and enjoy it when super mario galaxy and super smash melee come out.

wii isnt purposefully keeping wii in short supply...they are shipping 22 million in the first 16 months of its life...it just has a bigger than expected demand...they HAVE upped the production, but it isn't as simple as just 'make more'...

My wife hates PC games, but she'll drag me by the (few remaining) hair to play Wii Sports. Mainly tennis and bowling.

All my female friends love Wii, Fwiw with stuff like the Wii Fit coming out they're really looking forward to it. Bowling is the fav with the girls. We also play Mario Party and they seem to like that.

Touche you guys, but you haven't had my GF's cooking or tasted mine, in which case this is definitely the best choice. Also, needed a break from my own Halo playing.
