Villain is 21/10/5.7. We know each other pretty well. He's a tough player and uses his wide cold calling range to make plays - a "tricky TAG" if you will. I think he's capable of slowplaying AA/KK preflop, although I doubt it since we're playing so deep. His most likely holdings are a flushdraw/combodraw, set/two pair and probably complete air like 5-10% of the times. I doubt that he's raising me with a hand like AQ/KQ.
FWIW, I'm playing like 23/18/3.5, so he knows I could have a wide range of hands here. He has definitely seen me call him down very light in earlier sessions.

What's your line?

This is a very standard call, and anything else is pretty damn bad.

I guess I play more aggressively than most in these spots. I'm almost always 3betting the flop and getting it in if he pushes. I think many draws that you are a solid favorite against, like AXss or 87ss, will push, and you're only really worried about a set since you're just about 50% equity vs bottom 2 pair. Also you may get AJ or KJ to fold which would be great, and even if they don't you're not in bad shape.

2 questions:
1. why is raising to ~1350 no good?
2. is it because if BB shoves pot odds dictate a call? i think you could fold to shove, no?
